Fire monsters come out of the lake sometimes.
- You see bubbles before they appear.
- There are wizards who keep watch and destroy the monsters.

city architecture

There are lines carved into the streets, like a sundial, which citizens use to tell the date and time.
All the taller buildings have lightning rods, which are usually struck once or twice a day.
Buildings by the lake are built with grey and black bricks while the mansions on the hill use more obsidian.

All citizens of Ashtown appreciate the sacrifices of their founders.
- The founders managed to bring their children to Ashtown, but no adults survived.
- Without their parents' cultures, the children had to create their own.
- To this day, citizens of all ages refer to themselves as the "children of Ashtown".
